He walks in covenant with his wife Lisa and together they have three children; Kelvin, Timeka, and Michael. Dr. Tim is committed to transformational ministry and generational transfer for the advancement of the Kingdom!  He holds to heart the words of 2 Corinthians 5:17, “…if any person is in Christ he is a new creation…all things are become new.”

New Beginnings Community Church (NBCC) is the spiritual home of a growing and diverse congregation in Detroit, Michigan. Founded by God, through Timothy A. Williams in November of 2000, NBCC is a Christian ministry that welcomes everyone who recognizes the need for God, a new beginning, a new attitude and commitment to standing as the righteousness of God. As the people of God, our worship services invite and embrace God-encounters that stir the hunger to continually seek His glory.  It is not only a place to be prepared to meet the Lord Jesus Christ when He returns; it is also a place to build meaningful relationships where one can give and receive unconditional love and advance the Kingdom!

Dr. Tim ordained assignment is to instruct God’s people in a way that is real, relational, relevant, respectable and rousing.  NBCC members, covenant partners and visitors enjoy a challenging teaching that arms each one with an understanding of their Kingdom rights, responsibilities and the realization of Kingdom power.  Under his leadership, supported by the Ministerial Alliance of elders, ministers, deacons, leaders and believers the ministry of the “church” extends far beyond NBCC’s meeting places to its surrounding communities, marketplace and the world.

Lady Lisa M. Williams is passionate about Divine Order  and Service. She believes that we have been saved to serve and that order, acquired through a renewed mind, results in an extraordinary increase and new beginnings. Accordingly, Lady Lisa believes that anyone can have a new beginning and is committed to teaching God’s people His truths and principles for  Kingdom living. She currently operates in the gifts of teaching and administration at New Beginnings Community Church(NBCC) and not only serves as the Director of Family Life  Department but also as the Leader of Christian Education. Additionally, Lady Lisa passionately serves to build up the sisters of all ages at NBCC.

Lady Lisa was born and nurtured in Saginaw, Michigan. She currently holds a degree in Chemistry and General Engineering from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and a degree in Pharmacy Practice from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.   Recently she received a certificate in Coaching from Dream Releasers Coaching located in Stockbridge, Georgia.  She serves in the marketplace as a Pharmacist, Consultant, and Growth Coach.

For such a time as this, Lady Lisa has been graced to be a Wife for over 33 years, a Mother of three adult children, a Grandmother of four, a published Author, and inspirational Speaker/Teacher.  In accordance with this grace, she is purposed to reach, teach, and touch many for the glory of God.
